Our story

Young company, serious portfolio

Rea Roofing Inc. started trading in 2025, and we are not going to pretend otherwise. Plenty of roofing companies lead with decades in business; we do not have decades, so we lead with what we do have — a California contractor's license you can verify in about two minutes, BBB accreditation earned from an outside body, and a portfolio of work that is genuinely high-end for a company this age.

That portfolio is the honest argument. Standing-seam metal on hillside estate homes. Large new-construction metal roofs run to a general contractor's schedule. Low-slope membrane systems built up over tapered insulation and cover board on new concrete structures. Tile, shingle and the awkward transitions between roof types that so many North Bay houses have. That is not a starter portfolio, and it is the reason people hire us.

The work is spread across Sonoma, Marin, Napa and Mendocino counties — the North Bay wine-country market, where the mix of estate properties, historic housing stock, modern architecture and serious wildfire exposure asks more of a roofer than most markets do. A contractor here needs to be equally comfortable detailing a Victorian dormer in Petaluma, a near-flat Eichler roof in San Rafael and a Class A fire-rated assembly on a hillside above Calistoga.

What holds all of it together is a simple approach: high-quality materials, guaranteed workmanship, and an honest answer about what your roof actually needs — including the times when that answer is a repair rather than the replacement you were braced to pay for.

What we stand on

Credentials you can check, not adjectives

Anyone can call themselves a roofing expert. These are the things about Rea Roofing that an outside party has verified, or that we have committed to in writing.

  • Licensed · CSLB #1133025

A California state-licensed roofing contractor, issued by the California Contractors State License Board. The number is on the truck, the business card and this page for one reason: so you can check it.

  • BBB Accredited · A- rating

Accredited by the Better Business Bureau since October 30, 2025, serving the SF Bay Area and Northern Coastal California. An outside assessment, not a self-awarded badge.

  • Every roof type, one crew

Standing-seam metal, tile, flat and TPO, shingle and cedar shake, plus gutters and repairs. North Bay homes routinely carry two or three of those at once, and we would rather own all of them than coordinate three subcontractors.

  • Free estimates, guaranteed work

The two promises Rea Roofing puts its name to. Estimates and inspections cost nothing, and the work is guaranteed.

On the job

What working with us looks like

Our estimates name the material, the underlayment and the flashing details rather than landing as a single number at the bottom of a page. When the old roof comes off we show you what is underneath, with photographs, instead of leaving you to discover it on the invoice. And you get a straight answer about whether the job in front of you is a repair, a section, or the whole roof.

Landscaping and hard surfaces get covered before the first shingle comes off, sections are dried in as they are opened, and the job finishes with a sweep for nails and a walkthrough. None of that is remarkable. It is simply what a roof job should look like, and it is worth saying out loud because it so often is not what people get.

An honest word about reviews

Rea Roofing is a young company — it started trading in 2025 — and it is still building its public review base. Rather than fill this space with quotes you cannot check, we would rather point you at things you can: the CSLB license, the BBB accreditation, and the actual roofs in the portfolio.

If we have worked on your roof, a review on Google, Facebook or the BBB genuinely helps a new local business — and we would be grateful for it.

Questions

Everything people ask

If yours isn't answered here, call or text and we will answer it properly.

What areas do you serve?

Rea Roofing Inc. is based in Santa Rosa and works across Sonoma, Marin, Napa & Mendocino counties — including Santa Rosa, Petaluma, Sonoma, Healdsburg, Windsor, Sebastopol, Rohnert Park, Cotati, Napa, St. Helena, Calistoga, Yountville, San Rafael, Novato, Ukiah and the communities around them.

Are you licensed?

Yes. Rea Roofing Inc. holds California contractor's license CSLB #1133025, issued by the Contractors State License Board. You can verify it yourself at cslb.ca.gov — we would rather you did before hiring anyone.

Are you BBB accredited?

Yes — Rea Roofing Inc. is BBB Accredited with an A- rating, accredited since October 30, 2025.

What roof types do you install?

Metal and standing-seam, tile, flat and TPO, shingle and asphalt, and cedar shake — plus gutters and repairs on all of them. Having every roof type in one crew matters on the many North Bay homes that combine two or three systems on a single structure.

Do you offer free estimates?

Yes. Estimates and roof inspections are free, and the workmanship is guaranteed. Those two promises are on every flyer and truck we run, and they hold.

Do you do repairs as well as full replacements?

Both. We handle everything from tracing a single roof leak through to a full tear-off and replacement, and we will tell you honestly which one your roof actually needs.

Do you handle new construction and commercial roofs?

Yes. The portfolio includes large new-construction metal roofs and low-slope commercial work alongside residential re-roofs. We work directly with general contractors as well as homeowners.

How do I get a quote?

Call or text (707) 332-0081, email us, or fill in the free estimate form on the contact page. Photos of the problem area help us come prepared.

How soon can you start?

It depends on the current schedule and on what your roof needs — an active leak gets treated differently from a planned replacement. Call or text and we will give you a real answer for your job rather than a stock one.
